Security Officer Training Academy (SOTA)

Private security is in greater demand than ever before. Increasingly, organizations within both the public and private sectors are taking on the responsibility for addressing their own internal/external security needs. This does not come without added liability and safety concerns. SOTA exceeds the minimum state requirements to become a certified security officer. WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Those who desire to become a certified armed guard in the State of Arizona and enhance their knowledge and skill as a certified security professional.

TRAINER:

Dr. Eddie C. Levins has over 20-years of law enforcement experience managing organizations within both the public and private sectors. Dr. Levins holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration, Master of Public Administration, and Doctor of Education degree from Grand Canyon University. He has served as a training/technical consultant for the National Institute of Corrections, American Jail Association, and American Correctional Association. Dr. Levins has extensive experience in correctional management, jail operations, law enforcement administration, training, education, and curriculum development.

All training activities will take place at the LIS Group Training Center.

SEATING IS LIMITED TO 15 PARTICIPANTS

Tuition cost covers training, fingerprints, passport photos, and required range fee for firearms qualification.
